About EDHCustom

The idea for EDHCustom was first conceived when we realised that the MTG EDH/Commander community as a whole is shifting towards acceptance towards proxies as a way of levelling the playing field, allowing every player, regardless of background to play fun and balanced games of Commander with their friends, without it turning into a battle of the wallets.

On top of the recent acceptance for proxies, there is also a stirring in the community where players are getting fed up of seeing robots, dragons, sponge men, time travelling doctors and whatever else is coming in the future all with different borders and art styles, alongside each other on a messy, mixed up battlefield.

This is where the primary focus for our store came to life. We aim to deliver fully thematic, on theme complete proxy commander decks with a consistent art direction based on a pre-determined theme. We aim to offer unique and original decks that will have your opponents asking to see each card as you play them while questioning their financial decisions all the while.

With over 20 years experience with the game and a background in art and design, we have spent countless hours designing unique and thematic proxy decks and are excited to share them with you.

Creative Process

We create all the art used on our cards in house using a variety of processes to reach the end result. Techniques used include digital sketch, digital colouring and colour enhancing, ai generation and editing techniques as well as photoshop image enhancement and editing.
